If you love something set it free. If you label it, it will come back to you

Since buying my nifty label machine, anything or anyone that stands still long enough will be labeled. After thinking I had nothing else to stick one on, low and behold I found another.

When I bring goodies to a party or a church function, I prepare it in a dish that I would like to see come back. I personally do not like to take my half eaten dish with me upon leaving and this enables me to head home without the fear of never seeing it again. I place a label with my name and phone # on the bottom of the dish for whoever should find this. Since I use these casserole pans for my freezer cooking routine, I have accumulated quite a stash bought from local thrift stores and yard sales. If they should not return despite my efforts I would not be too heartbroken.

So the next time you hesitate to bring your favourite vintage Tupperware tray don't despair. Just make sure you stick your mark on the bottom and relax in the knowledge that little plastic gem will soon be coming home.

You made me laugh HE HE HE :)
I pictured you running around the house putting lables on everything. The funny thing is, I bought one a year ago and did the same thing. I was putting labels everywhere. My hubby once complained so for a joke I put one on his mouth that read, not to be opened.

You're my kind of gal- I LOVE labels!

And I usually use tape on my potluck dishes, but didn't think of putting my phone# along with my name- good idea!

This is why I love blogging. I don't seem so abnormal here.
